Net Price Calculator

Transparent Image
This Net Price Calculator will help you plan for educational costs at Rose-Hulman. Using this tool, you can get a financial aid package estimate that includes an estimated "net price" figure. Cost estimates are based on 2022-23 figures and aid estimates are based upon 2022-23 award rules. Aid estimates do NOT include Rose-Hulman merit-based scholarships.

Enter dependency status and contribution amounts calculated from an EFC calculator. You will need to use the College Board EFC Calculator to calculate an expected family contribution (EFC) along with an estimated parental contribution (PC) and student contribution (SC). When using the EFC calculator, be sure to select the "Federal Methodology" formula. Record the results for entry here.

You must still file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to qualify for need-based awards. Rose-Hulman does not guarantee you will receive this aid.

The percent of full-time, first-time students who received grant aid in 2022-23 was 45%.

The percent of full-time, first-time students who received merit aid was 99%. Rose-Hulman merit aid is NOT included in the aid estimate. Merit awards ranged from $15,000-$25,000 for the 2022-23 aid year.
